Stephen Pettitt, author of 'Dennis Brain a Biography'

      Mr. Jun Yamada(b.1959) translated 'Dennis Brain a Biography' by Stephen Pettitt into Japanese and managed to publish it in winter 1998. It is an honor for us that the edition are now in print besides the comprehensive CD box set 'The Art of Dennis Brain' which has been always on catalog of Toshiba EMI. These materials made Dennis Brain's great work and beloved personality more popular to the younger generations in Japan. The author and the translator met at Paxman, London in summer 1999.
